Aerial Fireworks

Aerial fireworks are now legal in Michigan. These are consumer versions of the large fireworks that you see at the county fair and on television. These fireworks come in cakes, named so because of their shape. Beneath the packaging, you will find a square or rectangle base with tube that contain the aerial shells. These cakes come in two main varieties – 500 gram cakes and 200 gram cakes, named for the amount of powder contain inside each cake.

With the aerial fireworks cakes you will find a wide range of shots. Some as few as nine and other, rapid-fire style cakes with over 200 shots!

500 gram cakes – Aerial Fireworks

200 gram cakes – Aerial Fireworks

200 gram cakes are the baby brother to the 500 grammers. Basically they work on the same principle – light one fuse and it does the show for you. Unlike the larger cakes, the 200 gram versions don’t shoot as high and don’t burst as big. They are great as show starters or for locations without much space.

9-on-a-board – Aerial Fireworks

These are the largest fireworks we are allowed to sell to the general public. Lighting just one fuse will send nine massive shots into the air. They are by far the loudest of the aerial cakes. If you want the loudest and largest fireworks display, then 9-on-a-boards had better be on your shopping list!
